Completed Pilot Project

In 2007 the Africa Telehealth Group in collaboration with a German company called tele-report (www.tele-report.com), completed a pilot project at the Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan (www.rmc.edu.pk) . This project now allows electronic transmission of radiological patient images such as x-ray, CTC and MRI from Pakistan to Germany for interpretation and consultation. Plans are underway to expand this service to other medical institutions in Pakistan.

Africa Telehealth Group signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Evaware Ltd, a UK based Private limited company

Background:

Evaware Ltd is a private limited company registered in England. Evaware limited has
embarked on a search for sales and marketing partners for their product "Project
E-vita", an electronic patient records system and healthcare ERP system. As opposed to more conventional software sales channels, Evaware Ltd considers niche software best promoted through partners in the end user marketplace, cooperation with international projects is seen as a way of forming bonds and alliances with players in the marketplace who can then act as resellers and suppliers of the software systems.

The Africa Telehealth Group was identified as one of a selection of organizations that
suits the profile of a future partner.

As a step towards forming a business relationship it is necessary for the Africa
Telehealth Group to get the chance to evaluate the products on offer from Evaware, it has been identified that one of the group's projects in the Sindth Province of Pakistan
is a suitable candidate for trial operation on the project E-vita platform.

A memorandum of understanding has been signed to involve Evaware Ltd allowing access to the hosted ASP service by physicians, health care professionals and patients.
